White Powders in your pocket

It’s quite apparent we twitch in speech

No fear friend it’s hard to be seen as

Exactly whom you want in these streets

People searching for a fad or to be free

We don’t cry just to be saved

We swagger in an arrogant wave

Thinking all will be ok

If he looks mustard to me

Take back your parallels and pep talks

How would you like to be remembered?

When the monkeys of the world are crawling over

Its always roundabouts but you

Just can’t go on like this forever

Picking up your minimum wage

I can’t hold your outstretched arm

I’m busy trying to figure out mine

Of all the morals that get broken in life

To chase your last ever smile

Take back your parallels and pep talks

How would you like to be remembered?

When the monkeys of the world are crawling over

Its always roundabouts but you

Just can’t go on like this forever

Picking up your minimum wage

White powders in your pocket

White powders in your pocket

White powders in your pocket

To chase you’re last ever

White powders in your pocket

White powders in your pocket

White powders in your pocket

To chase you’re last ever

White powders in your pockets cool

I bet you feel real fine

But that’s not you

Through me a line

When you’ve got the time

So I can chase your last ever smile
